An Unknown Path for A Trainee

Three weeks ago, i tendered my resignation from a Network Operations post to join my current employer as a management trainee. Initially, during both the interviews i was given the impression that this training program would allow the participants not only being attached to just one business unit. Whereby the trainee will get to experience on the technical side and also the sales and distribution field. A week of training has past, and basing on the schedule and new objective being given, it somehow has deviated from what i've been told. It seems that all the trainees will be given much exposure on sales itself rather than the technical side. A week has past, yet i still can't see where my future will be heading with this company.
The suspension bridge above which my team named  it as "The Straw"  is the 1st  team  project  that we did during this program.

More and More Optimus Prime :p

20th Anniversary Optimus Prime. Its the latest and also the largest Optimus Prime that i've got. Standing as high as 12inches tall. The material  is mainly  die-cast which not only  makes it heavy but also prone to scratches when transforming it.

Convo

After much pestering from my mom, i was forced to go for my convocation.
As early as 7am, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) was already swarmed by students with their family.
To my expectation, they started late and the supposed registration at 730am didnt took place. We were ushered into the hall around 9am with some of the students who didnt went to the rehearsal to be dumbfounded as they didnt get their seat number and their passes.

The convo took several hours in hearing out the speeches and of course the ceremony of handing out the scroll/handbook event. Waited until 1130 for the President Award announcement ceremony. I received a cert, a  RM1k cheque, a plug and a VIP parking at the lobby.. lol!

End of Carreer in NOC

Tendered my resignation 2 weeks ago to my employer. It was a bit sad leaving this company though it was only for about 2 months joining them. The experience and knowledge that i've acquired during my short tenure was definitely huge. Didnt even expect that i'd be learning so much in such a short time. Being the "Team Lead" for ISDN was totally a memorable experience for me.
Anyway, the most sad part was leaving all the colleagues. Just wanna say thanks to my bosses, the NOC team and of course my team members for helping me all these times.

The pic was an attempt to mimic the Firm tv show, where they surrendered their ID tag.. hehehe

Dont feel like going

Received a call from my uni 2 weeks ago, they were verifying if i were going to attend my convocation. And i was like sure, as long as it wont cost me an arm nor a leg.. i might be attending. Yeap, i might.. coz i just dont feel like attending a function where u have to sit nicely for long hours hearinf speeches that u actually wouldnt be bothered if the contents would be registered to your mind. Besides, its not like i'll be getting the real cert on stage, it will be just a mock cert for showing off in that ceremony.. heh!
Anyway, few days ago, uni called again, this time informing that i've been chosen to receive the uni's President Award and want to confirm if i'll be coming and attend the VIP luncheon after the convo.. again i say.. perhaps..
All my frens are already hyped up for this event.. some had even come to KL from all over the country to prepare for this event.. and not forgetting some even feel saddened that their new employer did not approve their annual leave for this event. However, i just DONT feel like going.
