:: Specialist I AM ::

If you have been listening to the local radio lately, you might come across and advert of an ah beng who bought a watch which he thought an antique watch. So he decided to take it to a watch connoisseur to check on the real value of his timepiece. Thus the following conversation occurs between the watch owner and the so called watch connoisseur (it may not be entirely accurate but its what i can remember, most of it)...
ah beng : hi mr watch connoisseur, i've just bought an expensive watch from my fren and needs you to evaluate it for me..
ah beng: so professor, (yeah, he did called him as professor) how old do u think my watch is..
connoisseur guy : i really cant tell, but i'm sure its not of a genuine one..
ah beng : but how did u know when u have not even check it?
connoiseur guy : easy, by reading the name on the dial.
ah beng : collect lor.. (should've been the word correct but being pronounced by ah beng).. L.O.L.A.X.. lolax (Rolex) mar...

Anyways, its really funny how some people misspelled / mispronounce words.. I'm ok if its just in a normal conversation... But when u starts doing it in actual advertisement or anything related to your work, it does however reduce your credibility dont u think? How can somebody trust you when you cant even have the simplest thing to be done correctly? sighhhhh....  So here i present to you a real example of it... Do u think this guy is a real specialist now?

:: Is the grass really greener? ::

My colleague was telling me his anticipation of interviewing his successor today. Saying how akward it will be doing that interview since the guy who is applying for the job was basically his mentor who had left this company not too long ago. But now he (the mentor) is hoping to join the company again. Anyway, the topic was then deviated to talks of leaving and continue our career path in another place.

Pondering on whether the grass is really greener on the other side is actually something that have been on my mind lately. Though its not something that i'd put serious thougts in it but rather its because of what actually happening in my enviroment forces me to have some thoughts over this matter.

During the conversation today, one of my colleague however disagree and mentioned that it's already a green field here, so why do u need to go the other side. Actually, what she said might be true since .. to a certain extent maybe.. i mean, i am currently working in a good company.. heck this company is so rich that i believe the value of it surpass even some of those countries coming from the 3rd world status..

But the question is.. how do i know what is the color of the grass over the other side (wherever that maybe) if i dont go and have a look overthere right? But anyway, if the prediction is accurate, i should have like another half a year to decide on my future. Hope i'll make the right decision when the time comes.

:: Jonkery Student ::

Its the holiday season again for IPTA students.. everyone just couldnt wait even a day more to go back to their own hometown once the last paper is submitted. And being in UiTM Melaka, whereby its basically in a quite remote location from town, makes the urge of leaving the place even more so.. which happens to one of my friend, who most of us would call her as Baby..

The other thing about student life living in campus is that, comes the semester break, you're asked to vacant your room due to you're not offered another chance to stay inside campus again or you'd be asked to change to another room anyway even if you're being offered. Dont ask me why cant you just leave your stuff in the same room and not change the room should you being offered, its just how the policy is.. somehow they'll giv u another room instead.
So anyway, come Sunday evening, my friend and I went to UiTM Melaka to fetch Baby and her stuff.. more or less its the stuff that is the main concern. (Hint : Students tends to pack a whole lot of stuff even if its just for 1 semester. Sometimes i even wondered how students were able to put so much stuff in a room shared with 2 or 3 other ppl.. its really amazing! I mean just look at those parents who came to pick up their children, most of them came with big cars, some even with a pickup trucks to load all their kids belonging.. Heck, how would it be should these kids being left for a whole year without changing to another room :P  )

After an hour or so loading Baby's stuff into the car, we had a stopover at Jonker Walk
For those yet to have a visit, Jonker Walk is like Petaling Street in KLwhere alot of stuff like bags, shirts, decorative items, food and such being offered in a hawker style). Anyway, lets just ends all the reading and enjoy the colourful pics in Jonker Walk...

:: Hand in Marriage ::

As the year draws closer to the end, alot of couple are taking the year end school break to hold their wedding ceremony. Currently, i've got like at least 4 weddings invitations from my buddies which one of them is my own "bro", Wecko and Bard Shamrol.
cincin tunang ke tu Ain? :P -- for WeckAin engagement pics, u may refer my FB or my flickr page..

Time flies so fast since i first knew Weck and Shamrol which i think it was about 5years ago.. We were just ordinary classmates until the day where our Faculty was having a football match against the Chemical Faculty in Melaka. The match turned out to be an ugly one in the field due the opposing faculty players were playing it rough on our players. I believe it was until the 2nd half of the game which it eventually ended up with a fight. And suddenly they (the opposing players and their supporters started to go into the field and attacked my friend Junaid. At that time i could no longer kept my cool while watching my friends got beaten up thus i joined in the commotion :P  And that very moment is the start of the Paya Rumput Indah (PRI) brotherhood for the four of us, Weck, Junaid, Bard Shamrol and myself. Hehehehe..

I just want to congratulate to both my brothers, Weck and Bard on their upcoming wedding and towards embarking a new life journey ahead of them. Wish you guys goodluck and lots of happiness with your loved ones..

:: Ketams in a soup ::

Been really busy with work lately.. With the PSS project is now over, thought of just going out to the suburbs or perhaps to the beach to unwind..

thus, checking up on uncle Google, not much of events happening in places that is of close proximity..
And suddenly it crosses my mind about Ain's idea of going to Bagan Lalang for seafood. But too bad for Ain and Weck though.. (or was it?) they're both not in town as they're happily enjoying themselves in Langkawi for a vacation.. Shheeesh!! They should have a better chance of having good seafood over there yet still complained i didnt wait for them on this trip to Bagan Lalang :P

Anyway, after much of googling, it doesnt really help much i'd say cause there wasnt really any satisfying results on reviews of great food places in Bagan Lalang (or maybe i'm not smart enuff to search for it.. hehehe! ). Around 430pm, off we go to Sepang Gold Coast.. (**Yeap, the place actually called Gold Coast..., why issit called that way i've no idea.. and no, it do not have any resemblance at all with the real Gold Coast that u might think of..... ). I managed to reach sepang around 45 minutes before i started to switch on the trusty Garmin GPS on my omnia for directions along with the voice directions (Weck, ur googlemap cannot talk right :P ) .., boy this baby really didnt dissappoint...

To cut the lame story short, the place is quite easy to find, its the only pier like restaurant at the area. Try to find Sri Malaysia hotel should u need to find where's the gold coast. The restaurant doesnt look as fancy as the one i went in Klang (Muara Ikan Bakar or something like that).. We ordered "Sup Ketam" (Crab Soup), Udang Kertas masak cili, (Chilli prawns), Sotong goreng tepung (Fried calamari), Ikan Jenahak masak stim (Steamed Fish), Kailan ikan masin (some veges) and abit of otak-otak.. which cost me less than rm100... seems like abit on the pricey side considering it wasnt all that tasty... the soup and the prawns was good tho... but the fried calamari was a total let down.. not only it was served cold.. it also tasteless as well... You'd better off have fried calamari from Kunang-Kunang restaurant in MRR2.. that place serve one of the best fried calamari.

OKlah... below are some of the pics i took when they were served... some didnt managed to get into the camera coz i was already too busy eating :p

Sup Ketam... nice..
Udang Kertas masak cili.. the best dish among all
