Scream-yx.... gimme more bandwidth pleasee.....

Ever since TMNut decided to implement traffic shaping on torrent connections, most of the users had complained on the very slow downloads of their beloved torrent files. So, i decided to check on the claims and monitor how fast is the torrent downloads actually.
Anyway, the findings may not be really accurate cause as we all know, torrent downloads not only depends on the download speed of our connection but also influenced by other factors such as how many seeders available for that particular torrent and such.. But at least we'll know roughly how much is the speed that we could achieve..
Without further ado, here is the result from the MRTG that i've deployed for 2 days and counting.. Based on the graph, max speed i've achieved was 111kbps with an average of 33kbps of download speed for my connections..  so.... yeap, its rather slow.. other thing i found out is that higher speed can be achieved around 2pm to 6pm GMT +8. Heh! maybe that can be a guideline on when u should do the downloading perhaps.. hehe!

Gimme another bowl of that

Laksa Penang @ Asam (which is tamarind in english i think) Laksa which originates from Penang.
Laksa is actually a bowl of steamed spaghetti-sized rice vermicelli, served with ikan kembung (mackerel??) soup and its main distinguishing feature is the asam which gives the soup a sour taste. The fish is poached and then flaked. Other ingredients that is put in laksa include mint, onion, chillies, pineapples, bunga kantan (torch ginger flower), serai (lemongrass) and such.

Sepetang bersama Lekor

Fish crackers @ Keropok lekor, as it is commonly known in Malaysia. It is one of the most popular and most visible fried snack in Terengganu (one of the state in Malaysia) is made of minced fish meat mixed together with sago / tapioca starch, salt, sugar, msg, etc. strictly no preservatives. It is normally deep-fry and best eaten while hot with specially prepared sauce.

Took these pics while having them with a bunch of frens while waiting the rain to subside. Good to hav these wif a cup of hot coffee too..

RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium Orchis"

My latest project : Dendrobium  :)

Project completion : 70%
A mobile weapon from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083:Stardust Memory.
Suppose to be really big if i get the 1/144 scale..
but due to my budget, a 1/500 will do for now..
heh, Rm50 for 1/500 compared to Rm1000++ for the 1/144 scale is too big for me to notice..

Hav Seagate for RMA?

Niterider sent me his HDD over to me like a week ago
to check out if theres any way salvaging his data inside his 200Gb seagate.
He told me that one of his frens managed to hav a peek inside the contents of the hdd
but was unable to transfer it (the data) elsewhere.

Anyway,
I've tried the same thing on my pc and lappy. furthermore, i even tried it with both winxp and dapper drake.
All giving me same results which is the contents is viewable for like 1 minute but then the device starts to fail.
By checking on the current between the power connections, seems to be fine though.
So i guess there's no lack of current between on the 12V power connection.
anyway,
here a guide on how to get your hdd (for seagate) for RMA.
First you need to create RMA report online,
Key in your model number and serial number and then select your country.
Status of your drive will be displayed and if the warranty is still available prooceed to create RMA, just follow the on screen instruction and fill up the form.

Secondly, send your Faulty HDD together with the report to Subang Service Center

Helem Yg Penting Bangat!

If u've been tuning to the radio nowadays,
u might listened to one of those road safety ads
by the Kementerian Pengangkutan Jalanraya.
One of the ads was a girl condemning his dad way of driving.
But what i felt intriguing was when the gurl suddenly saw a motorcyclist and
ask her dad why he didnt put on his helmet.
So her dad answered her by saying that guy must've live nearby or sumting.
And then, the girl said to her father:
"He should wear his helmet, ITS THE LAW" and its safer"

can u see where am i going with this..?
Okie. from my pov, the girl suppose to say it the other way round, which is
putting emphasize on the safety instead of the law. Come on, life is at stake here.
Helmet should be put on regardless of the rules. Laws are made so that people
would remember to adhere to the safety regulations so that it would save thier lives..
We're not suppose to let people think that we're suppose to put on helmet, or maybe put on our seatbelts, or not handling a mobile phone while driving and such just so that we're not going to be fined!
Wut is wrong with these ppl anyway? I guess, living in this Boleh land, has made it think that the law is much more important than our safety? :p
