1st of all, this post is not about KFC per se, but i wish a got a bucket of it rite now as i'm so hungry as a horsie.. :p
Got an unknown call last week from a student from multimedia course. she said her name was Fie, and she needed my help in doing her final year projects...
So, i was like, huh? 1st of all i dont even know who she is and how did she managed to get my number and so on. Most importantly, what is that i could be of any help to a multimedia student? Heck! Not only i dont hav the slightest ability in creating an inspirating design with lotsa creativity, i'm not even good at multimedia stuff.. haha!
Anyway, she asked me to do a voice-over for mandarin translations.. I'm kinda reluctant at 1st, considering the amount of work i hav right now.. Besides, i've never done these kind of stuff before, (the whole voice-over thing). I mean, its not like its gonna be as easy as translating english to mandarin will it? Suddenly all sort of questions seems to barge in my mind.. hmmm
To cut the story short, i met her the next day to get the scripts... Had a peek of it. Yeah, its pretty easy i guess. That nite, i made some adjustments to the script to make it more accurate and off i go (yeah, suddenly i was excited :p ).
Two days later, i received a KFC meal as a token of appreciation.. Yeah, its not a highly paid job like i received before from my former employer, but at least this time i had fun in doing it...

Doing voice over is actually a fun project... especially if you have the opportunity to do a VO for foreign comedies.... at least for local ads pun dah cukup okay dah tu...
