Received a call from my uni 2 weeks ago, they were verifying if i were going to attend my convocation. And i was like sure, as long as it wont cost me an arm nor a leg.. i might be attending. Yeap, i might.. coz i just dont feel like attending a function where u have to sit nicely for long hours hearinf speeches that u actually wouldnt be bothered if the contents would be registered to your mind. Besides, its not like i'll be getting the real cert on stage, it will be just a mock cert for showing off in that ceremony.. heh!
Anyway, few days ago, uni called again, this time informing that i've been chosen to receive the uni's President Award and want to confirm if i'll be coming and attend the VIP luncheon after the convo.. again i say.. perhaps..
All my frens are already hyped up for this event.. some had even come to KL from all over the country to prepare for this event.. and not forgetting some even feel saddened that their new employer did not approve their annual leave for this event. However, i just DONT feel like going.

hahahahhaaa... ko jangan jadi macam aku ni... golongan golongan yang grad belakang stage... mak bapak aku merayu pun aku tak pegi... dengan alasan aku anti UiTM... sebab lecturer dia perangai macam cikgu sekolah rendah... dan juga sebab sebelum tu aku kena sound ngan pak guard masa grad untuk diploma aku pakai Baju Melayu Teluk Belanga... dia cakap tu bukan baju melayu... bodo punya pak guard... kalau pak guard keling yang sound takpe laaa. ni pak guard melayu...

apadaa... baju melayu teluk belanga la best.. pakcik tu mesti jeles sebab mak die tak penah buatkan satu utk die..anyway, tgklah maybe pegi maybe idak.. kalo nak gi, hari jumaat kena pi rehearsal.. huhu.. jumaat sabtu ke pegi dah bape dah duit minyak ulang alik.. huhuh
congrats bro. in my opinion convocations are not meant solely for the grads...more of a sentimental thing tailor-made to make parent brim with pride and joy for the occasion.
betul tu... sebab tu jimi grad degree berambut panjang kat atas pentas... siap sergah orang yang bagi sijil tu... dia sorang je dalam dunia ni yang penah buat macam tu...
yeah, i do think this kind of events are meant more towards the parents..It is the time that the parents can feel proud of looking their child up on stage
ok la tu boleh rambut panjang..masa aku konvo diploma dulu takleh pn rambut panjang... time reheasal tu jugak die suruh balik potong rambut...

sebenarnye memang takleh rambut panjang...tapi aku simpan, ikat cun2 sorok dalam topi konvo...dah dapat sijil bukak terus...and i still remember reactions on some faces...hehehe

might be going coz my mom kept pestering me to go.. sighhhh
